"Stop taking pictures! Enjoy the moment!" That is definitley something i've heard before. What they didn't understand was that every time I took a photo was every moment I felt such a deep appreciation for the moment, so much so that I wanted it to last forever.

Ive always felt enamored by the emotions and connections of the people around me, and through photography i've found a way to give that as a gift to others. To capture that smile, or that hug, of those people who will never again be the way they were in that very moment.

There always comes a day when a picture is all you have left, a day where your kids won't ever be that small or your hair will never be that long. I think we spend a lot of time wishing we looked like this or that or wishing things were different.What I know to be true is every time we give it space and time our thoughts change to 'Wow I was so happy, or young, or beautiful'. Every stage of our lives, even the hard ones, are worth immortalizing. Because someday, whether it's you or your grandkids, someone's gonna look at that photo and say 'Wow, I love that person'. My goal is to make you feel that way in the present.
